Paving and Patios
At Drimalost we have over 25 years experience specialising in all disciplines of paving. From flagstones, tiles, sets, cobbles, kerbs and edging stone. We excel in our field because of our creativity, our focus on attention to detail and design empathy with the local natural environment.
The wide range of materials we lay, range from natural stone, such as; York stone, granite, Indian sand stone, fine picked Chinese slate, Cheshire pink, and limestone. All this stone, and others, comes in a riven or sawn finish, and a multiplicity of natural colours and textures. Naturals materials also include clay paving bricks, with their soft red, pink, brown, buff and brindle tones.
Also available are resin bound gravels, an alternative way to achieve the aesthetic beauty of the natural stone gravels but the finished product is a hard and clean surface. The stone is mixed with a clear UV stable aliphatic polymer resin to form a mixture which is poured and then hand trowelled to a smooth surface.
Colours vary according to the choice of stone, maybe flint, granite, spar, marble, moonstone or basalt, to name a few. So, according to preference, you could decide on red, golden brown, white, pink, green, silver grey, plum blue, dark brown or multicoloured pea-gravel.
There is also a growing selection of fine modern stone available today. The look and the durability of these products have now achieved an extremely high standard, and are a very good option alongside natural stone. The extent of this range vary extensively in form, texture and colour, from pre-formed concrete or resin bound, sets, slabs cobbles and kerbs.
